Connection with DP 1 (BIG SPOILER WARNING)

So I just finished this game and I can't get over the ending.
The first game's ending revealed that it was Zach's telling his grand-daughter named "Louise" about his story solving Greenvale case.
The second game's ending revealed that Zach lives on, thanks to York's miracle. But Zach got cancer sadium 4, right?
Is he capable of live long enough to marry someone and have a family, and at some point have a grand-daughter whose name is Louise?

As I understand it, the scenes in the Director’s cut version of the first game where old Zach tells his granddaughter the story, were a new addition not written by Swery. When it was rereleased as ‘Deadly Premonition Origins’ on the Switch, those scenes were omitted. There has been no official statement that I know of in regards to this, but I personally take it to mean those were not canon, or were retconned.

Now, I may be wrong but I think by now Zach must be in his 40s? I think just having had cancer might have made him seem far older than he is, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily impossible for him to start a family if you still want this to be canon.

Ah, so those scenes are not written by Swery and omitted in Switch version. Seems like they have been already thrown away for the sake of creating more interesting stories as we have seen on DP 2.

Or maybe Louise is patty's daughter. The cancer was the fat obese guy inside him.
