Overlord: Raising Hell
Do I run this game or the base game?
Overlord and Overlord:Raising Hell show up as seperate entries in my steam library. Does this mean that Raising Hell is not integrated into the main game?

for me it always started Overlord: Raising Hell no matter if i click the base game to start. you will play the base game either way so just start Raising Hell and its alright.
If you intall both, then it doesn't matter which one you run (kinda like warhammer 40k & chaos rising)
Overlord:Rising Hell is the same...
So Raising Hell is just additional content, right?
Raising Hell is a story add-on that gives more quest after finishing the main campaign, but it also gives you new armour sets that can be found by locator the various moulds throughout the main quest, and the added-quest.

From Wikipedia:
Along with an extended story, Raising Hell also features new weapons and armor to be forged in the forgery of the Overlord's Tower. To forge the new items, first the player has to locate the mold for each item and bring it back to the tower forge, for it to be imbued with minion life force (like original weapons and armor). The new items have more noticeable effects however. For example, there are weapons that invoke fire damage, and can deal shock attacks (as opposed to simple strength power-ups). There are also helms that can double the amount of life force received after defeating enemies. The new items are not limited to the new areas, and they can be used in the original lands as well as the tower dungeon.
Start the base game. If you have Raising Hell installed, it will appear on your main game. You can start it as soon as you gain control of the tower core.
Yes, when the 2 are installed its the same running any of them... I also got confused by this...
Raising Hell is Overlord with the DLCs !
so do i install Overlord? or just raising hell ?
You install both, I usually run Overlord even though it really just starts Raising Hell.
If you haven't started either yet, start Raising Hell, but it doesn't really matter.

I had both installed and it only started up the original. I was thinking Raising Hell was a standalone expansion. I played through the original Overlord and then realized Raising Hell is the same game with added end-game content. Thankfully however, it retained my save game from the original so I didn't have to replay anything (except the final boss). I assume it looked into the same save game folder.
so when i buy this Overlord:Raising Hell it concludes the main game and the bonus content?
if you mean it includes both the main game and bonus content then yes
yes thats what i ment sorry for my bad language :D thanks for help
