Can't enter in Evernight Abyss

So, I kill Melvin, his abyss appears. I kill Sir William, his abyss appears. I kill Oberon, nothing happens. Did I miss something?

Okay, it seems that the Evernight Abyss and the Golden Abyss open at the same time, after you defeat Goldo... because of reasons, I suppose. I think it is because first you have to "decide the fate of the elven race" (no spoilers here).

Anyway, at least this discussion will help anyone who has the same problem.
