Mother goddess statue glitch

[Puddle]

When I got the option to pick to either give it to the elves, or bring it to my tower, I accidently gave it to the elves and while the cutscene was playing I quit the game to the tower to see If I get to choose the options again. And then I went back to the desert but the statue is nowhere to be found and I still have the quest for it, not sure what to do here.
