The only ones who come to mind are all the references to Lord of the Rings (Halflings, their iconic houses, the Overlord looking like Sauron, ...)
One thing I noticed, that could be of interest, concerns the Seven Heroes.
I'm not sure if this could be considered an easter egg, but the Seven Heroes are based on the Seven Deadly Sins:
-Gluttony (Melvin)
-Lust (William
-Greed (King Goldo)
-Sloth (Oberon Greenhaze)
-Wrath (Kahn)
-Envy (Jewel)
-Pride (The Wizard)
I'll also have to take a look at this "Possesed Statue" you mentioned, to see if it changes depending on the Mistress that has been chosen.
That's not an easter egg that is obvious lore and Christian religion/mythology
All of the Seven Heroes (8 if you count the Third Overlord) were corrupted by the Wizard aka the Second Overlord, how do you corrupt a hero saving the world, give them the deadly sin it's that simple
