Both Overlord 1 and Raising Hell dont work

What it says on the title.
Neither the base game or the DLC work for me, They used to work and i have played through the game and DLC once back when i was using Windows 8.
I tried playing it again a few months after i upgraded to Windows 10, however the game shows the opening screen (The one where it gives credit to various sources) then the Loading sign appears in the bottom corner, then it crashes to Desktop immediatly.
Ive tried verifying both game caches, re-installing and running in compatability mode for everything it lists.
Anyone got any idea whats going on with it?

Go to Settings then downloads then clear download cache.

Doesnt matter, i deleted my old save and it started working again.

I have the same problem, but I haven't played it yet. Freshly installed on my Win10 machine. I cleared the download cache, but that did not help. Any other tips? Game won't start up at all...

I have same problem. Win7, clearing download cache does not help. Game cache verification says that 2 filed should be redownloaded every time I run the check.

Found a solution: uninstall anything Overlord completely. Install the base game (Overlord) first. Only then install Overlord: Raising Hell. It should run now.

I was not aware that Raising Hell requires original Overlord being installed, so for me just installing Overlord fixed an issue

I found out my anti virus software was quarenting the exe files

For me everything works fine, except the speech. No matter what I do, I can't hear anyone talking. Pls someone, help me! I really wanna play this game again!

Raising Hell was added to Steam before Steam had any idea wtf DLC even was.

It'd be nice if it could be repackaged as DLC since Steam has supported it since a year after Raising Hell arrived on Steam...
