If you buy them, you will get two entries in your library:
-One with Overlord 1 and one with Overlord: Raising Hell.
-You don't have to install/start Overlord 1.
-You just have to install/start Overlord: Raising Hell, because it includes the base content of
Overlord 1.
Raising Hell takes place after the story of the main game.
You have a new enemy that you need to defeat, because they threaten your dark dominion.
In order to do this, you will visit new areas, fight new enemies and revamped bosses.
You don't have to start a new game, you can just start Raising Hell in your library instead of Overlord 1 and your savegame from Overlord 1 should be available in Raising Hell, too.
