well in my first game on hard i did see 1(one) trapdoor vine
i did not know that they were that rare and did not get the seed stored away
(i was halfway down the research tree)

never did i see one again

when 1 item is so rare in the game and the other resources are easy to come by i consider it a flaw in gamedesign
Its true that in comparisson to any other resource, getting trapdoor vines was very hard but i was happy to see that i have a challenge ahead of me. That i would need to have patience to get em. I dont like games where everything is so easy they lose the appealing in one year. And honestly it only took me like three or four tries in every run to get at least three trapdoor vines. I dont consider that a flaw in gamedesign, it was just end-game and the hardest resource to get. Plain and simple.

Now, its a complete joke. Like smokepearls.
well i play every game that can be played that way ironman no reload
and the game should be hard on hard
but imo it should be hard along the whole game length

the endboss should not be a effing seed

as said above ..
they were overracting and i have high hopes that it will be corrected
If it weren't for quilted and the lack of need to ever actually mine sculptstone, the rogue trapdoor vines would be a much bigger problem.
But as it is now the quilted miner mines the crystals and the ghost and shattered are manually sent to harvest in the red zone. No 'edible' mage needs to set foot near a vine.
Love the update. Great work.
