Unreachable
I was playing and suddenly every bed I mad suddenly got set to being unreachable and no matter what I do I can't get them reachable again they all have space. Most of them are easily able to be gotten to and I played this game for a few hours and didn't change these rooms or the ways to get to them and suddenly out of nowhere with several ghost portals and their attacks on me I managed to get though it but now I can't seem to get any of the beds even medical beds to be accessable again.

OK manually setting the beds does work with removing the unreachable status. Unfortionally it's the same thing with the medical beds I can't literally have this school set up so every student has to have their own personal medical bed as well that's going to be a bit problematic It seems when ever I turn back on all students and staff the unreachable status returns but when I set it to one specific student it goes off. So I think now this must be some sort of bug.

Just to cover the bases, did you check to make sure you don't have a mage somewhere who got stuck due to reconstruction or damage? I wonder if it could be one mage that can't reach it causing the icon when the rest are able to reach it. Try picking one of the affected beds and and try assigning it to each mage individually, one at a time, and see if any are a problem.

Have you tried setting it for every student?

Because that result would make sense if there's just one student stuck somewhere.
I checked for a block. no student or teacher is stuck anywhere. And Yes I could try it for ever student with the regular beds. But the Medical ones are the problem. I can't set every individual medical bed to serve only a certain student. I'll run out of medical beds and usually it's better for someone at death's door to show up at the closest bed so I can do a revive on them.

What we're saying is, just do one medical bed, but try it for every mage. Set it to one mage, see if it still gives you the inaccessible icon, then remove that mage's access and set it to the next mage. Go through all your mages with individual access to the same bed and see if any cause a problem. This isn't meant to be a permanent solution, just to identify whether or not the problem is being caused by one specific mage or not.
OK just checked none mage doesn't have access to the bed I selected every individual mage and none of them cause the medical bed to have no access. It's only when I have the access set to Any for all mages to be able to head to the bed when it's needed.
Well, I'm out of ideas. I would use F8 in-game to submit a bug report. I'm not sure how they're supposed to respond to such reports though...maybe include your email address?

If I think of anything else that might be causing it I'll pop back in.

Im really not sure whats going on here but it seems like you have somehow built a wall torch ON your door on the left.
In the 2nd photo you shared they dont have access to the rooms door. Which can be seen in the bottom left of the pic, its greyed out instead of green.
In the third photo. im not sure as they have access to the beds side. It could be due to the front being against a wall the head being against a bed the right by a candelabra and the left being used as an access walkway???? taking up all 4 sides of access. Thats just a guess though. it would help to be able to see a bit more of whats going on as well.
It looks like the torch may be on the wall next to the door. Hard to tell though.

If the door in pic 2 was not accessible, the room wouldn't be, so there must be a way into the room. Unless I'm misunderstanding how the pathing tool works?

You can see green on both sides of the bed in question in the third picture, although only a sliver is visible behind the bed. But it does indicate pathing is available to both sides. I've never needed both sides to have pathing though, the near side that is clearly accessible should be enough.

Can you press "t"? It'll incline you camera and give you a better view of the situation. Also, double click on the message, it'll make you jump to the character that is generating that message. The area is fine as is, I'd zoom out and check on the path further away. I had that message pop up while my pawns were building stuff and go themselves trapped on the other side of the school.

Ok thanks it did make me discover something that might cause the problem but this might also be a fully different bug because I have no idea how this guy ended up on the roof of the school. I mean he's in a place I have no construction going on and their are no access ways for it. I just started constuction of a way though to get him down to see if that's causing it but it's strange since assigning this guy to a specific bed also stoped the unassigned part but post if this fixed the problem.

Edit:

Ok it fixed the problem although it does raise a question as to how this guy got stuck up there when their was no jobs or reason for him to be there I wasn't even doing any building stuff in that area of the school when the beds got that unreachable status.

I have a similar issue, however the message constantly pops up and disappears after a few seconds, I have plenty of space within the room and between the beds. I believe this might be a bug. :(

WORST CASE SCENARIO : Tear it apart. Rebuild from scratch. Let them sleep outside and die.
Unreachable means unreachable. To a specific character trying to reach it. Look for that character.

Most often, the obstacle is closer to the character than to the object. Say it's night time and your mage wants to go to sleep, the bed will be unreachable, but that's because the mage is far away at the other extremity of the building where they just built a wall frm the other side and didn't finish the door.

The issue can be anywhere along the path. Don't look so much at the unreachable item itself.

Just to add something methodical:

If you use the pathing overlay to see if something is blocked you should also check the pathing tool per mage by selecting one mage after the other. You can check if one of them got stuck this way.
As long as no mage is selected, the pathing overlay shows all the places in green that at least one mage has access to..
