Can someone please explain warding?
There are these "Underschool Wards" but I don't understand how they work. There's a "Dark Level", "Ward at %", and a "fog reclaims room in" timer. How do these work together? The timer doesn't seem to be related to the dark level percent.

If you don't fill the ward with magic, the room will become covered with fog again - you will need to fight to access it and all the rooms further that branch. And if there are still some items laying on the floor - they will get destroyed.
It is what "fog reclaims room in" timer is for - it calculates how much time you have untill the red meter is depleted and the room becomes inaccessible.

"Ward at %" is a setting that calls for a mage to refill the ward at set percentage - untill the ward is depleted to that level, nobody would go and refill it.

I think you have a day to fill the wards? Don't remember, I just usually make sure that warding is not disabled on priorities screed and forget about it. Unless all your mages are overwhelmed it should be fine even on default settings.

"Dark Level" is something I don't remember, since I restarted and haven't reached the ward rooms yet to check. Probably the level of dark magic the mage who is refilling a ward should have - tho somebody would need to clarify that.
Oh, here I was convinced they must be tied to the outside fog somehow. But it seems its timer is independent. Thanks for the clarification.
