Steam Deck compatibility?

I am interested in the game but I'll most likely get it only if it works great on Steam Deck.
Can anyone confirm if it works?

Steam Deck Works okay-ish in handheld mode. My advanced game where I explored the available caverns goes down to 14 FPS if zoomed out and running on fastest game setting. When you zoom in to build and check things it stays between 24-30 Frames (limited my Deck to 30 fps).

Docked it was a no go for me. Inputs too laggy at a resolution of 2560x1440. I actually removed the dust from my old Windows-Gaming PC (I5-3570K, 24GB Ram, GeForce GTX 960) and booted it up after more than a year to do the playtest (got a Mac Mini now and not soo much time to play games these days) Runs fine on that old PC.
