however the effect stacks meaning if you put multiple fog aegis next to each other with the effect adding up to at least 1, then the fog will be fully frozen and wont advance at all (just keep in mind that someone also needs to 'ward' the aegis afterwards as it looses its charge)
I did noticed the miasma barely moved, like, 4 tiles or so instead of the usual 15-20 jump, but those 4 were just enough to cover both rows of aegi.
i would report it as a bug with the F8 feature in game

The first screen shows my setup with 6 newly build, charged aegi right before the dusk settles, and the second was taken moments after. You can see the fog advanced less than usual, but advanced still :(
even if the rightmost aegis dont count for some reason as they are slightly inside the fog already, you would still have 0.9x fog prevention and yet it still advanced further then 0.1x worth
your fog looks really odd aswell, is the fog slightly scewed to the back for you?
the first row aegis has a tiny bit of the head cut off by the fog
the second row aegis has the entire body cut of by the fog
the third row aegis has almost the entire base cut of by the fog
--> the fog is closer the further it is to the back
for me in my game the fog is pretty much straight, if I build aegis like in the picture all the aegis look the same in relation to the fog
Not sure if I get what you meant here, but I think you refer to the camera angle? I took screenshots with tilted camera for clarity (so you could clearly see all 6 aegi and that all of them were properly warded).
however, this may just be how the fog at the edge of the world looks like, I havent ever paid attention to the fog at the world edge
Edit:
just tried the exact same setup as you have in your picture at the edge of the world:
the thing i was talking about with the fog looking odd is nothing, it is just one of the fog cloud animations bulging into the screen in the screenshot, making it look like it was the actual fog line that is poking in^^
so nvm that
besides that, I recreated the exact fog defense you have and for me it worked (however I am on the normal difficulty mode and each of my aegis say they ward against 0.6x fog)
I just leave a section at the end so I can push back the fog whenever I need smokepearls.
