Dragon not hatching

So, I finally got to the dragon egg being ripened and for some reason, no incubator I built, in and out of greenhouse, will take the egg. Mind you, this is after a spore attack. I need some help, anyone have a solution or something to point out?

If you've already ripened the Jade Dragon Egg in the incubator, you cannot continue incubating it. The incubating part is done. Now you need to hatch it. Do you have a Dragon Aerie? Do you have the mages with the required magic skills to perform the ritual to hatch the egg?

If you have gotten a bramble attack, maybe something needs repairing?

If the egg is already ripened, then IxianMace is correct: You're finished with the incubation step, and next you need a Dragon Aerie room so you can hatch it.

(Your original post said you "got to the dragon egg being ripened", which is ambiguous between "I got to the part where the dragon egg has already been ripened" and "I got to the part where I'm currently supposed to be ripening the egg".)

Thank you all for the help and advice; I was confused and thought that I had somehow broken my game (thank goodness it wasn't that).
