Report a translation problem
100% no gaps. Even built a double wall in case the roof wasn’t connecting. I had to build half a new floor to finally get a back wall and now there is a ridiculous half a floor sticking out in that room. The room creation mechanic needs to explain WHY a room isn’t being created
From your description I would guess that the roof is connected diagonally to the top of your wall, which does create a gap. If that's the case you can fix it by adding a bit to the top of the wall until it really connects.
I had exactly the same problem today and the cause was me trying to build a roof with an overhang. And it was an easy fix actually.
Maybe OP found the problem themselves already.
