Devs: Storage Priority
It seems like it's the same as all other things, priority to be built, moved, etc.

If I'm seeing it right and it is this way, priority needs to decide which box is chosen for materials. I have stuff in a low prio box and I expected it to go to high prio box. This is important for OCD storage management. Thank you, that is all.

This is how it is already implemented.

This is exactly how it is already implemented. It is both priority for Haul task urgency AND the priority of the storage itself for haulers.

Yes, never ever ever destroy or move a large box that's full unless you have an army of Carriers. Make the new box in the new location, swap it to high priority and lower the old box priority - carriers will full swap their inventories over. Destroying it or moving it just dumps it all on the floor.

But then why is it bad to just move the container? So what if the stuff is on the floor? Either way the stuff needs to be hauled and the priority on the new chest will determine whether it goes there or somewhere else. Is there actually a reason to not let stuff get dumped on the floor other than if it's outdoors?

Summons Gremlins which can destroy items on the ground and causes a Conviction reduction to your Mages if they see him.

Wait what? Seriously? I've never seen any reference to this mechanic. Do gremlins really get summoned just from things being on the ground? Does this apply to things on the ground outside? More than 40 hours in and I've never seen this happen. I honestly don't know if you're trolling or not.
Yes gremlins are real lol!

Only inside, and not in the Underschool, but yes, high "clutter" (items loose on the floor) in a room will spawn Gremlins. There is a Clutter overview specifically so you can check for rooms at risk.

wait thats great. I was literaly about to complain that i cant get the items that i want into priority chests but if i understand setting the chest to 4 would make them actually deliver stuff there. and my staff will no logner need to go to the basement to grab stuff. Is this tutorialized anywhere or did i completely miss it.

:beeped:
1. Have room full of void shrooms
2. Drop items all over the ground.
3. Have gremlins spawn in
4. Watch in chaotic awe as the gremlins very soul is ripped about by dozens of voids simultaneously.
5. ???
6. "The Void consumes all realities!"
:beeped:

P.S. 7. Transcendental Cha Cha time!
