Juvenile Jade Dragon

Its food bar is empty and I have 4 meat and veggies ready to feed to the dragon, but the only option highlighted is to give him affection. Game says there are no meat and veggies available.

I also had this problem (with different food) and the problem for me was the food hadn't been put into storage yet, and was just on the kitchen floor. Once it was in storage I was able to right click dragon and issue the feed command.
