Can underschools get me ignium?

Yes, but only tiny amounts.

To get larger amount of ignium you need to use planters and refining beasts.

But check your room infos carefully. Every game it happens to me that I wrongly assume I need some "large roof decoration" for some room (which then requires large amount of ignoum), but then I later find out that the condition is "large roof decoration OR 4 small roof decorations".

Has been months since the last time I played, now I have no idea where or how to get ignium, there is no info in the in game wiki, nor online, nor the data they give when you research items. Just a refined metal, with no info whatsoever for its source.

Hmmm... That sounds like a bug. Tooltips should show the sources. Will look into it.

Ok found it under Exotic Reagents, the problem was that if you search for bell and other items that require ignium, they don't list its source.

Yeah, it should really let you know when you hover at any place. We are also experimenting with the next pass on tooltips to make them less a wall of text while still getting all the info. Thanks for the thoughts and for playing!

I actually have no idea how to make ignium, even tho it shows in codex that ignium can be made in Cronebug Pen. But when i click in the Cronebug Pen, i still cant find it no where, i have full resources ofc.

Search for ignium in the research tree and make sure you've researched the recipe.

Best source of ignium is giant beetle, that counts as a refining station. Gemgrinder beetle if i remember correctly, don't remember the recipe but i think for ignium its 6 iron and 3 thorntooth (whatever comes out from vine trap plants that can bind and kill your mages).

Beetle is the most reliable. You also have a chance to get ignium from the rancor crystals
