Displayed Relics: Passively Upgraded
Hello, guys!

Thank you very much for the game! I played 200+ hours and still find the game the most relaxing and entertaining after a long day. Waiting for the updates - should be exciting!

I have a suggestion about Relic mechanics, but maybe it is already in the game, idk I didn't find it yet. Thing is, we have Relic Plinth, we can display Relics for different perks, the higher level of the Relic - the better perks obviously. Also, we have students, who occassionally graduate with a text "+N Relic XP". Does this text mean that displayed Relics get this XP, or what? Or does it go the Relics attuned to graduated student?

I think it would be really cool to upgrade displayed Relics this way, passively, by graduating students.

It's not that critical in the first phase of the game, but later, when you have Lvl 12 Apprentices with Tier III Wands and on graduation you get 40k+ Relic XP, in the meantime you have Relics of max Lvl 24, displayed at Lvl 1... All that graduation XP - where does it go?

Is it the only way to upgrade Relic - attune them to characters and wait? Too long...

Also, another suggestion came to my mind: imagine you have an Apprentice, he has various Relics attuned to him, then he graduate when ready, these Relics stay in school + we get 1 new Relic. Could be nice to convert some of the Relics into more powerful ones, for example student have max Lvl 9 relic, then on graduation this Relic dissapears and instead of that we get max Lvl 16 Relic. It could solve the problem of unused Relics taking places in chests. Pulverisation is a nice option too, but c'mon it's not a problem during the game, I have 1k+ shards, I can do whatever I want, but I need more powerful Relics instead of Shards.

I like these ideas and also wouldn't mind a new station for merging stored relics together to create higher lvl relics. Or being able to use shards to upgrade relics, that way the pulverizer might stay a little more relevant too.

Wow, great ideas! Merging station - sounds tasty indeed
Using shards for upgrading - like maybe there's a some kind of Ritual Sign (or even just adding Rituals to the already existing station)

Imagine Rituals "Upgrade Relic" of different levels with different requirements - different amount of shards, different requirements for personnel and students, like with Rituals "Hire" and these with Fog

I hope we will get something like that in the future

or maybe relics that allow to attune other relics to specific characteristics as well? I sometimes have a great looking relic that just doesnt FIT anyone, so a ritual to adjust it maybe? with a cost ofc!!! no free meals.
