Floors not creating a Skewed room
The hints are saying I can create a Skewed room using floors, I'm not finding that to be true. I have three spaces between the added floor to the next floor above in an attempt to make a Dining Room; it's not working.

I did try different lengths of that floor, didn't make a difference.

Try having the bottom sub room with one tile less width.

IIRC, you need 3 fewer wall tiles on one side than the other. In this image, you only have 1 fewer on the right than the left. You can do it with floors, but you'll need more layers of floor (not wider length of floor).

To clarify, when I said less width, I meant for the bottom room to have wall one tile inward

I found a simple hack if it helps. Notice the right wall that protrudes. use 1 floor with 2 walls on top and that counts as a 3+ wall ratio.

Here's another attempt that failed, this setup did work for me before in another game. I also tried that short top floor on the other side and didn't work there either.

I'll try Quicke's little hack and see if I have any luck.

This configuration did get me a Skewed room, couldn't find a mix using floors.
