Won't attend lesson
I have an apprentice in water, maxed level 10, all magics maxed out except 1/2 of dark magic. I have three advanced classrooms, one water, one fire, one air, and all the other apprentices go to their classrooms just fine, I've had another water apprentice get hired and another graduate. The kid just won't go to have lessons. Any advice?

If your apprentice is missing one dark skill you need an dark advanced classroom. Apprentices can only attend lessons in advanced classrooms and those only teach their specific element

Actually, a basic learning stone can be in an advanced classroom, since it's a room type. I think you mean Advanced Teaching Station. But, yes, the apprentice needs the Advanced Teaching Station of the right type to train said skill.

Ok, I'll try this, I swear though the other apprentices just learned their whatever non-main aligned skills in advanced classrooms too. thanks, I'll update when I get the dark apprentice station.

Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for clarifying

Can you clarify how you solved this? My situation is slightly different. I promoted an initiate to air apprentice, it raised their general level cap, and the potential for lightning magic levels.
However, he wouldn't learn above lightning level 3 in the advanced classroom containing both a basic teaching stone, and air apprentice station. I thought, maybe he needed a wand upgrade to level 2, so I did that. He still won't learn (it's an advanced classroom, if that matters). Does it have to do with lacking a teacher that has lightning magic that high? I'm pretty stumped. Moved the stuff multiple times.

You will need a lightning teaching station.

You can level up their secondery element by sending them into battle and I think by doing tasks associated with that element. It's a slow way, but if you haven't researched the corresponing learning station yet.

After they become apprentices, they no longer learn all the magic types at a learning stone, so you have to have the correct apprentice learning station for the magic skill they need to upgrade. Can be slightly annoying, I have had multiple students maxed out and not learning and not able to graduate or anything because I have had to wait to get all the appropriate apprentice learning stations. Teachers with higher skill only affect the rate at which apprentices learn that skill, they can still teach anything at any apprentice station, so like a l7 nature teacher can still make a fire apprentice learn, but it will a little faster if you have a fire teacher (I think its +20% learning rate per associated level)

also this, but some of the skills are impractical since they need like 4000xp in dark magic and can get like 4xp or sth when they recharge a mana lantern which is the only thing apprentices can do, or cleaning for water etc. My point is it is still quicker to get the apprentice station
