Promote to Apprentice

Am I crazy, but when I look at the research tree I can't find "Apprentice Station" even by searching for it.

Can someone tell me where it is?

You need the element-specific advanced teaching station corresponding to the element you want to apprentice them in (e.g., the Lightning Orrery to apprentice them in Lightning). You will need to research and unlock the desired station first. You will also need the advanced teaching stations to let them continue to take classes, since Apprentices can't use the Learning Stone.
