Stairs, Bridges & Balconies
It would be nice to have variant or option for standard stairs to rotate them in all four directions and move in space to build staircase rooms.

Maybe even 2nd vesrion of round stairs that take for e.g. 5x5 or 6x6 (and take place from backwall) and create amanzig staircases like Legendary double helix staircase at the Château de Chambord (Da Vinci Design)

Last thing is bridges & balconies area conecting our towers. Bridges could use roof way of "wizarding" their shape in funny way, otherwise I can build only this sad thing that I posted here....

Agreed, bridges (or catwalks) and balconies (or fences) would be really great additions, and have also been suggested on discord. It makes a lot of sense too so I'd be surprised if the devs won't include it eventually.

The only real issue here is that such described staircases and bridges take up a lot of horizontal space. and horizontal space is a premium. this limits the number of functional rooms you can build... or else drastically increases the travel time between tasks.

to implement in a meaningful way (as opposed to just throwing something in and then few people use it because of the issues it creates) would require devs to rethink the map in general, how building/construction is performed (more depth to rooms, more three dimensional space for building as opposed to two dimensional), room requirements, and travel modes.

As noted time and again before, there is a strong reason why everyone has ended up with a school featuring a single central stair-pole instead of other, multiple stair arrangements.

Once you research floating supports, you could build your entire school as a floating structure...

...except you can't move the ritual stuff underground, and you lose out on advanced structures that require grounded.

As discussed before, this game has a lot of potential, but it's all being hamstrung by the devs imagination and implementation.

When it comes to bridges or catwalks its just untrue that they would need to take up a lot of horizontal space as they could be built similarly to a floor. And they don't need to just be an additional aesthetic component either if they also have the feature that they don't cut a room off as this would allow people to create upper floor pathways through taller rooms - that would just make use of what is mostly empty space now and help with pathing in the school.

Yeah bridges could be constructed in the way roofs are. At 0% they'd be flat and use little space. At 100% you'd get a true cakewalk, who knows maybe even a looping in there!! That way every player can construct the bridge they like.
I'd love to see bridges to connect outside levels, for instance 2 elevated floors that would benefit from a direct connection without messing up any keywords that could happen by connecting them with floors and walls.

I would love the asthetics of a old style rope bridge. Shoot maybe even have an upgrade to the "Wood cutter" as a "Tree house" of sorts, where you need a rope bridge to lead into an elevated, towered room that lets trees grow even quicker or something. The potential for small buildings and room additions is endless. I cannot wait till ONI modders get their hands on stuff and/or Klei gives them some more inspiration or backup from features that made ONI as good as it is. I am absolutely LOVING this game rn.

I would like to add a hallway style that goes at the front of rooms crossing through allowing rooms to remain private while also having a way to pass. the front 2 tiles are open and there is wall with door a to go straight back.
