Hire Student, Ritual Sigil, Adept Scroll - how to?

[Howdy]

I figured it out but wanted to share because I couldn't find help online. Maybe upvote so it shows in a Google search. I found plenty of occult info searching for 'Mind Over Magic' and 'Ritual Sigil'.


I couldn't hire because I didn't have Adept Scroll
No Adept Scroll because I didn't graduate students yet
No students to graduate because I didn't use Learning Stone properly
I couldn't graduate students because I didn't have a Ritual Sigil
I finally found the Ritual Sigil in the Research tree.
I wasn't researching enough because I didn't give it enough priority.
I'm probably missing an ingredient that led to the hiring but I can only hope this helps someone find the way.

I kept restarting the game to see if I missed something. Now that I have these things, I am able to explore so much much more.

this doesn't need an upvote... as it is the most basic task/loop in the game.

I don't see how you could fail to discover this from just clicking around and trying things and reading information available in the game. Like reading about the rituals in the ritual book. Or the items in the research screen.
