Say you have two Aegis in a line against the fog with 0.7 days remaining. Come nightfall, the fog will be completely halted, and you will be left with one Aegis with 0 days remaining, and the other with 0.4 days remaining. Again, warding each will take them back up to 0.7.
Long story short: you need two Aegis each side to eliminate the fog completely.
I only have enough ingredients to put two Aegis on one egde of Fog. Hopefully it'll hold back one side of the Fog long for me to get some Trapdoor seeds.
