Medallions

Does lightning level affect how good or how many medallions a student gets? I know some require level 3 lightning to summon gifted students. For gifted students I always get a total of 7 medallions and always 3 bronze, 2 silver, 1 gold and one platinum, 3 medals of them also always ends up in one row. Has anyone got more or better medallions than that? `(Relaxed version)

I think medallions depend primarily on the student's wand level, and whether they are Gifted. There also appears to be a small random chance of having an extra medallion. I don't think the stats on the mages doing the summoning affect anything anymore, as long as they meet the requirements (for a while, the officiant mages used to affect the chance of unintentionally summoning a Gifted student, but that mechanic was removed).

That's an interesting theory though, gonna try test if it has some type of effect now that I got my higher level researcher hired. So far all my mages have had only level 3 lightning the highest
