instead of chopping trees, what station do i use to make runewood? cos i completed the recipe:runewood research but dont know how to make it

You must harvest runewood first. There are no way to produce it before initial harvest. You can harvest it in a "brown" domain after fog repelling. Among with sculpstone, amonia plants and other endgame(for now) resources. You will need staff with 4+ level nature magic for this.

After initial harvest you can plant seed in your woodcuttery and have constant income. It grows pretty fast. Or build a Bird and refine it there. Any way - you need to chop it first.

The information is all there, it's just not being spoon-fed to the player, you're going to have to play the game to figure things out.
If you try to harvest runewood with a non-nature 4 skill mage, the game will tell you it requires nature 4 skill.
You researched the recipe. This is after the refining beast for which the recipe works, so obviously you have the station already available, you just haven't done anything with it.

Just playing the game?? do you understand that there are resources on the land, that you can harvest, right? did you even push the fog more than two inches away? more fog you push, more resources you will uncover, including runewood <<<<. I have found a bird nest from the crystals once too.
It's not reliable to wait for that to happen tho so you're better off simply chopping a few trees.
And stock up on wyrmweed because you need 5 of that to get just 1 runewood. Chopping the trees becomes a lot easier once you find your 4 skill nature mage with at least a big mana pool, and preferably a shattered.

People is so frikkin liar omg.
a) you dont get ANY other item rather than smokepealrs from crystals. The only crystal that gives you anything else are dull crystals, and its an ornate rug, nothing more.

b) even if you get other items than smokepealrs (that isnt the case) you would never EVER get something like the bird nest (its an advanced crafting station you have to research and those are never EVER dropped anywhere for obvious reasons). In fact it isnt even an option when you see the list of rewards from the crystals.

And of course the bird nest dont drop from fights either...

So, either you are playing a complete different game than the rest of us, or you are just talking about something completely different, or you are just fooling around, please stop.

Foggy crystals do drop things other than smokepearls, though inadequately rarely, and they drop far too many smokepearls. Foggy and Dull crystals don't drop bird nests. There are crystals other than Foggy and Dull that have different drops.

You can get the Weaver Bird and some other significant stuff from completing certain dungeon battles, and possibly also from the battle crystals you get from pushing the fog back a lot at higher levels.

Which is why it's useful to avoid arguing, instead just making it convenient for people to find relevant information. Inconvenience is a more important barrier to curiousity than unwillingness to get less confused.

I am very confused: It takes Runewood to make the crafting nest, that makes Runewood???

I have no Runewood after almost 50 days.
