Well the game still needs A LOT of improvements, specially in the resource management. Its true that in later game either you keep building chests like a madman (ridiculous btw) or you have to get rid of some resources, and like you i dont have a clue how. I mean, a sell option would be nice, being able to sell materials in bunchs its something very essential in any management game... we will need to wait to see the game improve. I dont think there is any way to get rid of materials except using em...

Technically speaking, you could. Build a chest outside and fill it with unwanted items. Then choose to allow it to hold nothing. Everything will fall out onto the ground. Then select all of those things and deselect "move" on it. These things will now be ignored by everyone, even quilts. Then just wait for the rain to come....

Erm, the point is not to fill chests with unwanted items, thats even worst lol, the point is to empty those chests to make space for something else!!!

Such a hassle though - you would need to go around every chest in your school and deselect the seed you want to get rid of so that the haulers don't just move them into a different chest. Then you would need to prioritise the stacks you want to bin as 5 and the stacks you wants to keep as 1. Then do everything you said. Then do it all over again for the next item type.

Don't forget the goblins spawning cos of the clutter while you wait for all this to sort itself out.

I know it's EA, but this needs to be addressed by the devs at some point - I've got 1000's of seeds i'll never use and getting rid of them is a ballache

You can use Move command to pace unwanted items near the Fog. During next Fog advancements - those items will disappears.

If i place a chest with items inside will that chest and all the items dissapear??? thats the whole point. Please dont tell me you expect to move item by item when you have to get rid of hundred or thousands... :p

The easiest way will be to have some kind of recycler where you transform items into something else or you can get rid of em directly. Something like that.

Yeah, these methods are inefficient, but hey, at least it is something. By the time I need more space like that, I have at least 20 carriers anyway running around.

I like the risky but more efficient idea of just putting chests at fog full of unwanted items.

But then one could also make an isolated (not the keyword, but separated from rest of house) "room" full of chests of the unwanted to then destroy the chests to intentionally spawn goblins who'll so the destroying and can slow farm the goblins too. I Remember it's a ghoblin per room per day I think?

Put it out and destroy it

Yeah, we need a garbage can. I have 800 freaking iron from combat, not from mining. All I want from combat is the scrolls, but I keep getting iron and stone. My large chests have 8 stacks of iron and 6 stacks of stone. Ugh, its annoying I want to burn a ton of it. :cozyhoi4eagle:

I just started playing recently and yeah... we need an easier way to get rid of extra stuff instead of building more storage.

They are Gremlins, but YES! This works really well! I put all the unwanted stone and iron into a chest in an isolated room and locked the door. When all the stuff I don't want is destroyed, I unlock the door. (To lock the door just allow access to "None").

Awesome idea, much faster than rain!

I wish I could set limits to item amounts in chests, the organization is certainly chaotic and I can't tell how much will they actually hold, like what is the stack size? It seems to randomly vary depending on the item, so I never know if a chest is full or not.

Btw Hawke if you want scrolls and not iron&stone fight anything but the underschool. In my experience best ones are those time limited 4 skull misty crystal battles you get from repelling the fog, I got 150 scrolls + 150 pearls from the last one
