You can make private room in the center of your building by adding more than one staircase.

not really , you can only have 1 point of entry , so you cant have anything else than 1 door or ladder in, so almost every single room is a dead end.

Once you researched foundations or support pillar it should get easier. I make a lot of sections outside my main school just to build a lot of private rooms lol.

I also think that there are too many private rooms, maybe too many lofted as well even though that one is not as bad, but the thing that really gets me is the stitching room as i already have my school built by the time i get all the research needed and dont want to make a special building for that one room.

Usually around 8 blocks wide is good for the majority of the rooms needed to be made (for me at least). What I do is make a spiral going up a good ways. On either side of this staircase I make private rooms. Just below those private rooms, I make a 4 block high passageway that is held up by supports instead of walls so it is open to the air giving those private rooms elevated also. Then on the backside of those private rooms, you can repeat the process. That way your people are transversing the corridor rather than going in weird directions.

but it just doesnt make sense, why would you have private dinning room or worst a private dance room?

I have like a dozen of staff members, trying to make twelve private bedchambers is making me cry. Even with late game support options, the layout for twelve bedchambers that still connect together back to two staff dining rooms (that ALSO has to be private, and be somewhat close to the kitchen so they don't actually run far far away for their food) is a nightmare.

I mean, couldn't you just put a pantry in the dining room and fill it with the food there? You can micromanage your settings a bit for this. You'll have your quilted bring the food from the kitchen to the pantry anyhow.

lets say you can get 6 staff per dinner plus the kids , 3 rooms so 3 pantry. 20 stack of 100 of your best food x2 and some to start having in the 3rd room. if you want them to only eat the best meal you need to keep a production of your best meal at at least 4100 meals.

That is an excellent design. Cheers for sharing.
