Support Building Guide?

Hey folks. New to the game. Is there a guide anywhere on how to properly build your school walls? I'm trying to extend one room out a little bit, but all the floors and 1% supported so I can't actually build

In order to be 'supported', the support needs to go all the way down to the foundation. If you're building off the sides of your school but are missing supports at the bottom, it will cause that.

There's a research called 'Supports All The Way Down' or something that has the outdoor and indoor supports that you can use to shore up the overhangs and bring support to the upper levels.

From a wall or column, you can extend a floor 7 tiles away and it would still be supported. But that wall/column has to reach the ground.
If you build a new wall on the 7th tile of the floating floor, that wall gives no extra support.

I think a tutorial would be pretty good. At the moment, hints only pop up sometimes. I just got a cursebound student, but no tutorials have popped up to tell me what the heck is going on.
