Construction problems
Hi everyone, I managed to get one of my mages stuck on top floor because the stairwell was blocked by the roof, so I dismantled a small part of the roof so she could get down. However once I came to reconstruct the roof it said the roof is unsupported, even though it didn't say that before I dismantled it! Confused!!!

A screenshot would be helpful.

But you can usually figure these things out by pulling up the support overlay. The unsupported icon only shows up on objects that are slated for construction, but the overlay shows everything that's unsupported (in yellow) so you can see where you are missing a floor or something else that might be causing a wall, etc from being a valid support structure.

Thank you for your reply, I was able to work it out from that. Much appreciated.

How did you fix it exactly? I have the same problem, the roof was built fine, until I want to add stair and trying to the build floor or wall over it, they were all unsupported, even rebuilding the roof wont work

I realized I had left part of the roof on top of the wall. I demolished that part of the roof, then started a section of roof that went from the wall to the existing roof.
