How do the high level teaching portals work?

I created a Dark Teaching Portal and Advanced Classroom, thinking it would be like a learning stone but faster. Instead, no one uses it!

So, how exactly do they work?

Learning stone has a skills lvl cap up to 4. High lvl teaching portals for 5+ lvl skills.

Looks likes my gifted students with lvl2 wands able to learn 5 level main skill without any special equipment. Or I have not catch something.

Yeah, I got a gifted student with level 5 air without even researching let alone building the advanced training for air.
