Is there a way to fill this gap?
Hey, Im just wondering if maybe there is a way to fill the gap in this room without losing the "lofted" status?

I just looked at my save and I have a wall segment above doors and hallway segments. I see in your screen shot you have the floor right above the door, but it may not work with hallways, although I haven't tried that yet.

A way you could test is delete the wall segment directly above the hallway segment. Then start the floor in that position and drag it right.

Edit: Noticed the stairs in the back too. They could be affecting how that last floor segment is working.

I hope I am not leading you in the wrong direction. Just trying to help :)

Thanks, but i think you are misunderstanding. I dont have an issue placing a floor there, but i want to maintain the "lofted" status for the room without having holes.

No, because the reason it has 'lofted' status is that the room is one room. If you close that hole, it becomes two rooms. Interesting trick, by the way, I didn't realize we could make multi-level rooms, that could be great for getting more floor space in big common rooms.

To make a room lofted, it needs to be taller than it is wide. You can fit one lofted room into the space you are working with, but can't fit two, you'd need more vertical space or to make the rooms have a narrower footprint.

I was thinking the same thing, that is a clever use of space. Great for dormitories!

i do this all the time to make my lofted room less waste of a space. I hope they added a railing item. For now I just use 2 walls to create "railings"

You don't need railings; your mages won't fall off (unless you delete the floor underneath them).

Crap, sorry about that @rav I did read that, but when I looked at your screen shot, it reminded me of an issue I had recently. Completely lost track of your real issue!
