Tips on roof building?

I've been enjoying the game but i'm finding adding roofs really frustrating, especially if you try to edit one or fill a roof hole. I find that my only option is to rebuild the whole roof again as otherwise it's not supported. Any tips?

it's supposed to be wonk, aparently it gives more luxury:) yeah, the whole thing needs to be rebuild

Thanks, I'll have to be more careful when building walls and floors to not overlap. I'm sure klei will give us more options as the build progresses :)

also you can make loft rooms with tall roof

You can connect the room to the side of the wall, thats what I have been doing if I need to add a room later instead of rebuilding it.
