If that's the case then maybe there *is* an actual solution to that final lever puzzle where you don't touch glitch-dog. Narratively, it makes sense that the puzzle would be solvable since Buddy wouldn't deliberately make something unwinnable.

Of course narrative doesn't neccesarily mean anything. XD

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ENDING 1


1. always tell buddy youre having fun
2. complete all quests in town ( not palchum, friendville)
3. If buddy tells you not to do s thing, do not do it.
4. this is the MAJOR IMPORTANT PART : you MUST NOT KILL THE DOG. just sit there. do not do what Buddy says there.

you can check the flower in your room at each world phase to check your ending progress.
bad ending it will start to wilt, good ending it will look very good, neutral ending it will " look a bit better "

if you walso want ending 4 info and 3, I can answer this as well.
along with any questions abotu the story you may have,


in additon to this, the [c] data is obtained in ending 1 ( you cannot miss it )

It seems like the lever puzzle in the cave cannot be solved and was a scripted event

Now I’m just wondering how to solve that lever puzzle in the cave since the only way to “solve” it is to touch the glitchy dog in order to teleport to the other side.

Is there really not a way around the lever puzzle? I tried everything in TemmieNeko's bar that possibly, but still got ending 2.

Yeah I helped that character. Didn't help out any palchum characters (e.g. that bard guy) though.

Hm... it's possible having all the documents apart from C is another qualifier then.

Which is going to be fun because I still haven't been able to accomplish the bit that gets you U

Maybe you need to use the coin at the well? I forgot on my current playthrough but I'll report back if manage to get ending 1 without it.
Edit: alright got ending 2 again. I dunno anymore lol

Did you make liberal use of the Buddy Button by chance? I did that in hopes of increasing my odds. Also, for those still wondering, yes the final lever puzzle does have a scripted solution. I just got ending 1. and still had to do that.

Yeah ill try using the button in various locations. Got the Pristine Apple this time as well but I really don't know if that effects anything. Definately requires absolute dedication to get this ending though xD

I'm not sure if having all the documents is a qualifier but the secret to getting U pretty easily is...
After Fighting Snoodlewonker, compliment yourself before you go through the tunnel so you have full health and then open your menu to make sure one button mode is on. (ESC- Tab- M if it is not already on :) )

Also Obtaining U again fixed the duplicate U invalid document. Who ever said it was for getting G more than once is incorrect i didn't have G at all when i got the duplicate file. hope this helps :)

no, getting g more than once was* a bug and it can cause you to get dupes.
nobody said it wasa the intended way.
you can get U anytime you beat the glitch groncho, C is only found in ending 1, literally uinmissable.

( also pretty sure you start at full health for glitch fight anyways )

Got ending 1 at last ^^ This time I used the buddy button in almost every unique location and went through all of the dialogue in addition to using the coin on the well.

EDIT: Oh and naming yourself Owen or the pet Milo doesn't matter or do anything I don't think. I got ending 1 naming myself Tia and I had a bat named Bit.
