Achievements not unlocking

So I've been playing this game for a few hours and it says I have 0 achievements even though I know for a fact I've gotten some of these things. Anyone else experience something similar? I'm not playing offline, so I'm not sure how to fix it.

Hey, this is happening to me also. I'm about a hour in and not got the first few achievements that should be unlocked.... hope it gets sorted

Hey guys! We made a slight mistake with our latest update, and we'll be looking to fix that sometime today! Brandon and I are on vacation but thankfully he brought his laptop, so we're going to look into this right away!

Haha it's no issue! We have some time before we leave today so we're taking care of it as we speak! We're just about done and we should be pushing it live very shortly!

Sorry to keep bothering you on your vacation, but I updated the game and after I updated, Buddy's text no longer makes a noise. Not a biggie or an urgent matter, but I thought you might want to know.

Is it just the Buddy's voice? Or are other sounds missing too?

From what I noticed in my game it's just Buddy and the text from the interface at the start of the game which is the same sound. The other characters text noises still work. The sound from the pause menu noises still work too.

Edit: I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling it! Everything's a-ok now. It even remembered my file (I had backed it up just in case, but it wasn't necessary.) Not sure what went wrong, but I'm happy it was a pretty simple fix.
