[ Nearly Dead 's OFFICIAL ROADMAP ] Please read before asking any questions.

$10.000 (funded)

NPC Companion
NPC Companion AI will be added to help you, and move according to your commands. They can cook for your character, build a house, or keep a night watch to safeguard your character while sleeping. And they don't have to be a human being - they could be a furry friend, too.

$20.000

Vehicles
You will be able to build a vehicle composed of a combination of tiles. It can be modified any way you want within the game (runtime), including multiple layers. It will be your safe haven when you choose to have a wandering life.

$50.000

Faction
Faction, composed of the survivors will be added.
They will try to expand their power and fight each other in the Overmap.
They can help you, or come after you.

$100.000

Camp Building
You will be able to build a survivor camp made up of the survivors who follow you. The content is extensive and will be a new challenge. It can switch to the UI of a City Building Game, and you'll be the leader of this group of survivors, where you can decorate and manage your village to create your own faction. Also, a faction property tree will be created so that it can be linked to existing faction content to give the individuality of the faction.

$200.000

Multiplayer
Multiplayer based on the Steam network will be created.
Through this, you will be able to build a village with your friends or fight against your enemies. First, it will be implemented in a PVE manner and later in a PVP maner.

$500.000

Demonic Dungeon
Randomly generated Dungeon Crawling content will be added.
When you enter the home base of the demons of ND, they will greet you with a complex and difficult dungeon. This is envisioned as a late-end content of ND and will be created for the survival genre gamers who suddenly begin to get bored after the time of their guaranteed survival. This dungeon cannot be re-entered once entered, so you will have no choice but to clear or retreat with only the equipment and supplies you have.

One more thing, Roadmap order can be changed during development, according to devs.

just a question on the sides, will the steam sales get alculated into those goals or not?
i mean not everybody can or wants to get it via kickstarter and all ;)

I think it will be counted to the goal as well due to the sale from Steam will go to Dev's fund after all.

well, i'm just asking because i'd be mostly interested in the multiplayer goal and since that's quite a long way down the line i just wanted a way to estimate the chance of it making it in, considering the kickstarter only reached 15k so fat and the dev wants 200k for the MP to make it according to your initial post here^^

Actually Goal cost written on side is not neccesary now, that's just settled in around last year, and It's not that important now. According to devs, if they fix their critical bugs on their games, first big update would be Multiplayer or NPCs.

Well no. sales rate are not related with Content updates.

That Goal has been ended since Kickstarter ended in last year. sales rate is no longer related with goals. According to devs, if they fix their critical bugs on their games, first big update would be Multiplayer or NPCs.

The faction goal sounds interesting, the posibility to have more diversity in combat is always welcomed.
Will the map be fixed or have some rng elements?(like certain events happening after x days).
One thing that is not mentioned here, will there be official servers or at least custom maps made by the devs? The potential of the game seems to be that it can challenge people in a lot of ways.
200k for multiplayer seems too much, i doubt the game will sell that well considering that the game curently is pretty buggy and you can stack items on you(like having 2 hiking backpacks). More people will come if the game is challenging

Sales rate are no more related with Content updates. don't worry about it.

don't get me wrong, but all in all you appear just as a regular user like anyone else partaking in this so far so there's basically 0 reason to take it at face value so a link showing an official message would be a great way to validate it.

I dont see keyrebinding planned its a must.......lefthanders only 9% and always forgotten.

And no need to reply like "play like a righthander......learn to play etc etc".

lefthanders aside, configurable keymapping is a must regardless since everyone got different preferences and what he's used to

Well, this is just mockup image, but it will be implemented like this.

NPC의 길찾기 AI가 차량과 조합되는게 문제라서
일단 NPC부터 만들어질지, 차량부터 만들어질지는 모르겠읍니다.
멀티 -> 차량 -> NPC 순서로 갈지.

Problem is Collaborating NPC's pathfinding AI with Vehicle is a problem.
So I cannot tell which will be first, NPC or Vehicle.
Maybe Multiplayer -> Vehicle -> NPC.

yeah, This is why I'm saying this stuff on here, based on discord. because they're too busy for checking all community at once and respond.

Also I'm a Korean community manager (Not hired, just Volunteer) of Nearly Dead Discord (It's global community, includes korean community) and Korean community website. but sometimes I have to do extra work on here and other place, due to All Devs are on busy for their job (mostly, Bug fix).
