Not being able to play Boreas SUCKS
As a solo player who started in early access F this ♥♥♥♥. Why would you make it a company thing only? The company system is fine, make special missions as a company sure. But why in the F would you not add Boreas to the regular mission list?

If you could atleast use company points to make a Boreas mission so any public players could join you it would be ok, but you cant, company officers only and only company players can join those games.

Who even thought it was a good idea to lock new content behind this? We have to wait for the whole Boreas story to be over before we can even set foot on the new planet?

you can make a company. you get 1000 points. that means you can run 7 missions on boreas. after those points are used up. delete the company make a new one and run the 7 missions. you do not need 16 players to do company ops. any open slots are willed with randoms. So people who do not have a company will be forced into your mission. so people who are not in a company can do boreas missions.

The main reason they are doing this is to get people to try out their new company system. Its the carrot method. getting points is too easy and until they change it I do not see what the problem with it is. the boreas map is extra hard and really you should have a party of players who work well together running not a group of randoms, even tho most of the time it is one person company starting it and 15 randoms being pulled into it. Boreas, if you ask me, was a map made for those of us who wanted extra hard missions. The normal player base may not want missions like that. so by not having it be normal mission I think was a good idea. Plus boreas is broken right now and I can not complete one without it crashing, server time out because the mission takes too long to do.

Just my thoughts on this.

I remember the first week the company thing started. I got pulled into a full company. they where giving command planning moving as a team. Basically working as a real unit. I guess the only reason I was there was one of their member crashed out and I took that persons place. We won with no problem and it was a hard mission. Then I got pulled into a few more before I made my company. Most of them where really bad loses. I am guessing the reason you dont get pulled into them as often is unless you have a good team its most likely going to be a loss. Which if it didnt crash so much I would say it would be good for those who like hard missions.

Create your own company and set it to private or public doesn't matter since you are the leader, you can buy the boreas mission for 100-130 points (You get 1000 points on new company startup, surely you see what I am hinting at,)
Now just queue the mission, and it will throw you into the Boreas of your choice with other players.
For any non-Boreas mission you win, you get points; otherwise, delete the company and rinse and repeat.
