- through the UI (UI Visual)
- the Arc digital screen itself. (Visual Object)
- Also phara, mentions everything through his voice. (Sound Advice)
It's a bit embarrassing, but most people just ignore it.
The big problem is human deficiency, the inability to analyze absolutely anything.
I understand that making it more intuitive would help a little.
I didn't really want to say it but in short, people are s****d, they would put cubes in circular holes, haha
To do this they would literally have to darken the entire screen, with a voice and a giant white text for 3 seconds, and even then they wouldn't know what to do.
Really the only solution for this is to prohibit the player from certain actions.
eliminate the HQ, and instead build the ARC and spawn there.
Eliminate the existence of GAS, until at least having obtained 8k ORE.
then the GAS will appear there, to be extracted.
It's a little more linear, but you prohibit players from doing the minimum "stupid" required, haha.
You could still do a lot of nonsense, but at least the order of priorities would be enforced.
Indeed. Far too many players seem to have literally no idea what the mobile HQ does in horde or what the ARC does in the other modes. They do nothing as those buildings get swamped and then wonder why they lost. Maybe humanity is getting dumber at an accelerated rate?
Are you suggesting the ore refinery should switch to producing gas? Not a fan of that tbh.
I would prefer is the ore refinery was removed altogether and we 'mine' ore from the big metal and blue crystals with build tools. Gas should also be used for more than just powering the ARC, like the field generators, or a powerplant in the base to keep the sentries / electric fences online.
