Anyone find the damage when hit by bugs really inconsistent?
Anyone find they just randomly die from full health from a single hit? Do the bugs have a random chance of a head shot or something? It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying especially if it happens on exfil.

They actually have a moveset, kinda. Normal attacks, heavy oof attack and a charge that will instakill you.

If they attack from the back they will certainly instant kill Hunter and Operator without damage reduction perk .

Ooooohhhh so THATS whats been happening. Holy cow it makes so much sense now. I thought the melee damage was RNG based for a second here

from what i understand if you run away warriors go into a charging attack that speeds them and nukes you.

so it's just better to tank the first hits than make them charge ?

not really. if your weapon can stun - just stun, gain distance and stun again once the stun animation is over. if your weapon can stagger - it stops the charge if you manage to stack the stagger so that the stagger animation actually happens. if you have several warriors chasing you and you manage to line them up they will actually get in the way of each other charges. so you can theoretically just continiosly stagger the one that is directly in front of you and the others won't be able to charge you. the issue is ammo. once you're out - you're done because stagger provides only a very small window that is insufficient to reload even the carbine.

eating a hit will also slow you down so evading a second hit is not really an option at that point. charging is just a way for the game to deal with kiting.

this is my experience.
