Please do something with the rocket launchers.
It seems like almost 50% of players sport this. It's too powerful and reloads too fast. In extraction and during other battles, I am useless as a sniper. I can't see through all the explosions and while scoping big kills, usually all I see are rockets spamming my targets. I would also guess I am killed by FF from a rocket launcher once a round. Please nerf this weapon. I would recommend a MUCH longer cool down.

Perhaps make it so it can only be rearmed at a base supply station instead of ammo boxes.

No , the rocket is fine as it is . The objective for it however appear quite frequently in Normal diff which give the illusion of rocket being problematic , because it is easy to arm 16 players with RNG .

Grenade Launcher is much more disruptive than rocket and you will always see them around .

Spoken by one who sports the rocket launcher? I have not used it but played by many who do. Seems you can fire 4 or so quickly with a quick cool down. Then repeat. Trying to focus as a sniper near them is almost impossible. They spam kill with little difficulty, steal kills, and ruin visibility. They are the worst at causing FF damage and death.

Funny thing is some complain about Hawkeye Sniper high damage output made people go solo and not play as team but no one talk about how every match full with RL Spam. Who need team when we got RL.

Instead of buff gun. DEV decide to nerf it but let's RL stay the same. RL Should not be able to resupply. It'll force player to save it for the right time instead of spam. And made player use gun more than spam rocket. Increase RL Damage and range of blast zone but made it come with limit ammo. When you use all of it you drop it and get side arm back.

I would agree with that. This would help with visibility, reduce FF spamming, and reduce stealing kills. In real life infantry would never be running and gunning with a RL that reloads 30/40 times.

RL should be a tactical weapon, target selection should really matter. If you're going to make the damn things spammable, give every class the option to take it in the tech-tree and let's turn the game into "RocketTroopers Extermination : Boring Edition."

Agreed. One thing I don't like about the current rocket launchers is that it feels like when they are fired the shooter just haphazardly shoots it as if it was a slingshot or something and not one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Suggestion: Make it a little more responsible to fire. e.g. you HAVE TO press secondary fire to bring up sights (and the animation takes a second or two). THEN you can fire it.

Hip firing a rocket launcher is pretty silly. lol

I don't think that's true. Grenade launcher is a close range weapon where as rocket launcher can be used as a close range and a sniper basically.

Grenade launcher was also nerfed with mag extension being removed which kind of sucks but its understandable since it's a revolver style with only 6 grande slots.

+1. I'll admit I've personally enjoyed a bit of the RL spam, but yeah, in its current form it's too accessable, too over powered, too disruptive to other team mates leaving them little to do.

They need to make it so it can't be spam fired. Also if you fire at close range it will wipe out multiple players, not just the bugs.
They could also make it a add on weapon you can pick up and only have limited special ammunition?

I am against taking stuff away from the player. Nerfing and debuffing are out of the question for me. Maybe we could buff the bugs according to the number of launchers we have instead? By adding bigger waves or stronger special bugs. This way the Rockets become more essential for crowd control and special sniping.

On the topic of kill , if you do damage and then a guy with rocket launcher shoot at it , both of you will get registered kill and have same XP reward .

Plus , if i see you pestering a grenadier or tiger that is attacking the base with the SAW from long distance , i will use my rocket , every second it alive will potentially lead to more damage done to the base and possibly other troopers , and i am in for efficiency .

Yes, add increased difficulty for EVERYONE because SOMEONE got a RL? That seems silly. And if that person is a troll like those who want the deconstruct tool faster? Now you've got someone losing rocket launchers left and right just to punish the team with difficulty.

Sad part is, most of the 'make it convenient' comments don't realize that the idea of convenience leads to trash. Much like housing. Why do you think renters charge more than they have to typically (other than greed)? Because low prices and too much convenience allows the trolls and tools ease of access. They're not going to put in work, they just want to ruin your day the easiest way possible.

I would advocate for reduced smoke. Rocket comes with 3, I think, in the mag. So, maybe drop that to 2, reload is fine as is.
