Console Key
Is there any way to change this key at all? It's my PTT on discord.

Dig into the Starship Troopers Extermination game folder and find the folder: windowsnoeditor (by typing in %localappdata% or just finding it on your own; the folder you want to look for here is Yakisoba)
Open the file Input.ini (if it doesn't exist, create it)
then insert the following commands:

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
ConsoleKey=(KEY_YOU_WANT_TO_USE)

Then, Save, Run Game.
And you can now open the console with your key of choice

Once you do this it will override the original keymapping and set it to the one you set it to. And in case you have trouble finding the windowsnoeditor folder it is within the Yakisoba folder that you will find after entering %localappdata% in file explorer.
If you want to assign it to another symbol key (like back slash or colon or something) you have to spell it out, like this:
ConsoleKey=BackSlash

Or at least let us disable it. Tilde is a common keybind for FPS players

I agree with this sentiment. I constantly hit ` and end up screwing myself up by opening the console.

I don't know any other way except my current setup is to disable it entirely by autohotkey:

#NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. ; #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors. SendMode Input ; Recommended for new scripts due to its superior speed and reliability. SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% ; Ensures a consistent starting directory. #singleinstance force #Persistent ~::return `::return

Indeed. Either a rebind option or disable.
