Endles horde after failing on exterminating the patrols should be harder

(This is for veteran mode mostly)
In ARC once you reach infestation level 5 it triggers the endless horde the first 2 or 3 waves are a bit hard to elimante but once you pass that is not much of a challenge it doenst give that urgency of finishing game by hurring up to get the gas, i think the endless horde should get worse as time pass, 5 minutes constant spam of tigers and 10 or 15 min of a granadiers spawning in a rush constantly.

We had before 3.1 a massive tiger or grenadier ambush. Less than ~10% of the whole community liked it.

We´ve got 1 year of progress. So it´s much time left with unkown changes and what exactly we´ll get later. We can only make theories what will really come in the future.

I know it's because I'm a casual gamer but I still cannot comprehend why people enjoy 'shaft me harder daddy' levels of difficulty. Where is the fun in bashing your head against iron?

Endless horde already feels like a game killer to me unless you're in a perfect group where everyone is hyper-coordinating. Why make it even harder lol

Am I just that casual?

You don't need a "perfect group" though...just enough players moving in the same direction.

Like OP stated if you wait long enough the endless horde stops being that.

There are casuals and hardcore players and there would always be, i guess my kind will have to wait for hero of federation difficulty.

Dunno how long you have to wait. Thankfully only encountered it like twice but it's always been pretty endless.

Just curious about something, you know that the endlesshorde is a punishment for failing at doing the extermination patrols, you dont agree with that kind of punishment? Of having a bigger chance of losing the battle? Mostly my concern is how much the battle prolongs and i do think that everyone should die after 20 minutes of endlesshorde,but those are my thoughs.

Wont matter if we keep re spawning in. I think at level 5 threat, there should be a re spawn penalty. like no revives and increased bug damage.
