Buenos Aires was a false flag operation
The only reason that the meteor struck Earth at all is that Carmen Ibanez piloted her ship into the meteor's path. (after changing to an alternate unapproved course to save fuel) If it had an even slightly different trajectory it would have missed the Earth by thousands or millions of miles by the time it came near the planet.

I always said it was an inside job to gain support for the war!!!!

Still curious as to..
1. Where exactly did the meteor come from?
2. Exactly how fast was this meteor travelling, and how did the bugs accelerate it to that speed?
3. If the meteor wasn't travelling faster than the speed of light, just how many decades/ centuries/ millennia before the war started did the bugs "send it"?
4. If the meteor was travelling a greater than light speeds (thus defying the laws of physics), how small did it need to be to only destroy one city, rather than vaporise the entire planet ( not to mention destabilise the entire solar system).?
5. Given the rather ridiculous nature of a lot of things that happen in the movie, why is this the stuff that bugs me?

Dumbest thing I ever heard.
And it wasn't Klingons from Uranus either.
Any clandestine outer solar system military tests could have destabilised an Oort object. Thing that bugs me is we don't know who is/was doing what.

Lore says a wormhole connects Sol to Arachnid Space.

Telekinesis by the Brain Bug .....

Pretty sure a brain bug got Earth's coordinates from either the first contact where they killed most of the troopers from the dropship or the mormon settlement and then calculated from there, probably working the wormhole into the calculations.

I'd like to see the math behind this.

Reported to the authorities on suspicions of being controlled by a Brain Bug.

Then it is the bugs that bug you. Any question to this fact only proves you are either a bug emphatiser or directly controlled by them. And as such will be reported to the authorities.

This thread will be recommended to be under surveillance of the Federal Intelligence Agency. Citizens are advised to move on.

Buenos Aires was an INSIDE JOB!!!! No way in hell some bugs could tactically sling an asteroid across the solar system. Sheep will buy any story from an "official" source.

There never was 100% confirmation that it was an asteroid.

Coulda been a dirty bomb :steammocking:
lspraven Jun 21, 2023 @ 6:53pm
Technically it was a bug colony.
