Flying bugs?
Is there any info at all whether or not flying bugs will be implemented? The amount of potential is already great here, but with flying bugs that potential is massively amplified. Though it'll likely be a difficult thing to implement properly and in a fun way.

Watch movie trilogy there are plenty of things to add ;)

Hoppers (aka flying bugs) make sense to be here but it doesn't seem like there is anything in this game which can fly smoothly. Gonna be rough to implement.

Yea, it's specifically hoppers I was on about.

Pretty sure I've never seen a bug like the Gunner before, at least not in that iteration, outside of this game. Seen spitters and other ranged bugs. But my point is, it would be okay if they made up some stuff. Like I feel they did with the Gunner. Pretty sure SS: Terran Command did this as well.

But just hoppers can be a great and a huge game changer. Looking forward to it, though I expect release is a long ways off.

Hoppers also can kidnap troopers and bring them to their nest (according to the movie from 1997) for some human bug bonding time, i wonder how this mechanic will be implemented

Maybe they already implemented them we just don't know it. Perhaps every time someone puts the last gas in too early it was because they were taken away by a hopper and taken control of by the mind bug thingy and then sent on a mission to sabotage the Arc.

I would love it, but probably not. This sounds like something for another game; Starship Troopers: Immersive Sim. (Something I would probably love to play)

Can't wait for flying bugs to swoop in while I'm shooting a group of bugs and chop my head off.

Flying bugs are needed asap, so they can nerf the gunner a bit.

That and brain bug "payload" missions.
