the elephant in the room though is the lack of interaction between the bugs and the troopers. it falls flat, with people just knocked over injured. don't see why people are so bothered by perma-death for the sake of some really cool bug / human takedowns, and just up the tickets count. or, if you get you legs / arms ripped off, why you can't be revived with prosthetic appendages. it lacks horror.
the reason i play this game, i cant afford sub fees for WoW!

Hive mode with complete darkness with no access to a map would be the closest to horror the game could get but would be fun

This is the only game I have worth playing & wasting what precious little time I have left on my 16 hr days of work n stuff to do everyday, so that's why I continue to play this game....:)

Carry On !
I love it because it's easy to join in with 16 players who are all random. So many games are to company/guild/clan focused having to use discord or you are out.

Jump in this game and just play when you want. Not being tied to a company/guild and rules.

It's just so addictive to play. Plus I prefer first person any day over 3rd person games.

We all play for our fellow troopers and for the love of the Federation.:Honored:

You get murdered by giant bugs and abused by an autocratic regime like a tool?

Having a smooth match go straight to hell during the Extraction is what I live for!

the devs have stated they want to add player dismemberment but they will need to rework the revive system to some degree for it to work so it is a lower priority then current optimization and bugs spawning rework
I only wish characters animation were more fluent and less speedy boi. Same for bugs. More natural movement than laggin or speeding around.
Also gun ready stance looks awefull. Like everyone would have back pain for staying like that. They need to change the character stance
yeah it looks pretty, but I need more than candy to hold my attention. You can see and do everything in this game in about 2 hours and then it's mind numblingly repetitive. I have to drop out of game after game to find one that doesn't have a baby screaming in the background or people talking about their cult master. I'm telling you, if I start a match, I should be able to kick people out instead of having to leave my own game.

I play for the fun. Yesterday morning I was playing horde as a medic. It was agni and our base was clearly going to fail. The signs were all there early. Wave 9 base collapse and the flight to the boat. I spent most of waves 7-9 running as a true medic healing with darts and revives as needed.

I sprinted to the boat and made it as the only player to get there. I see 1 demolisher maybe close enough to revive send the drone and duck back in. He revives and makes it to the extraction. I look and he is by far the kill leader for the match with 350 kills. I had 28 revives and 64 resupplies from my med kits. So the best killer and the best medic were the only survivors.

It was a loss and it was an extraordinary messy fight but it was big fun.
