Starship Troopers. Can't connect to the servers

After the videos, it asks to enter a login and password or create a new Epic Games account. I tried to create a new one and use an existing one. An error appears. Unable to connect to the server. Please tell me what needs to be done?

I used steam
Before start you need enter your Epic Game's login + pass.
After that, i have a problem = Unable to connect to the server.

Stupid question but did you verify files ? or reboot Steam ?.

Any solution?

My game won't even show a password entry.
It just goes straight to "Failed to login to server, Please try again." when I click either
"Create Account with my Current Platform" or "Recover Account with Epic".

I've disabled any programs that could be blocking traffic to rule that out.

Did try going to your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\StarshipTroopersExtermination" and try running the UninstallEOSServices. Then reinstall EOS?
I remember seeing something about that pinned somewhere a long time ago.

Thanks, but reinstalling EOS did nothing for me.

Question is, why does it not work with steam either?
Does the game depend on some windows service that might be disabled or something like that?

Did you check if your firewall or antivirus has quarantined any of the game files?

No game files were quarantined, and I've disabled my firewall for troubleshooting with no effect.
Fresh game install, game files validated.

Have you tried clearing the Yakisoba cache files on your PC?
They are in a separate folder so a fresh install wouldn't clear them

By fresh I meant I only just bought the game - first install. So everything should be clean, but I could take a look.

You don't need an Epic account to play this game if you bought it on Steam. But there are issues. Every time I start the game is says "failed to connect to server" but I just click connect and it works.

What connect button?
There are two buttons here:
"Create Account with my Current Platform"
and "Recover Account with Epic"
Both just return a "Failed to login to server Please try again." notification...

Там в гайдах писали, что надо удалить одну из папок Якисобы. Мне помогло.

Most of us have never had anything like that. Not sure what that is all about to be honest.

I vaguely remember having a problem like this, and I think I resolved with both steam and epic game launcher open & logged in, and started the game from the desktop icon not launched from within steam & it worked.
