To be fair, we hear it so many times that it just melds into the obvious. The movies had female characters too, though I think she had her brains scooped out.

The helldivers community has it worse at the moment. It's kind of disappointing. If the man wants to reenact the movie, he's pressed for luck doing so in the online variant. Best bet is to turn off character voices entirely and pretend you are the character.

The characters in the movie weren't randomly picked either to play their roles either, this goes against the franchise completely. Hopefully they change something soon with this, it's like playing the Robocop game but you're forced to play the side character, she's a great character no doubt, but most want to play as Peter Weller yeah know.
