Game crash for "too high Ping"
Hello, My game has crashed twice today because of "High Ping" and the number provided was around 270 both times. ms or mbs something like that. Can anyone tell me if theres something I can adjust? obviously were all experiencing the expected awful issues from 1.0 but maybe theres something I can do to make this not happen as often.
Im running a brand new rig with amd RX 7700 and 32GB Memory Ram so I should be able to run this on ultra but I am only doing on high. UPDATE: Happened 4 times now today. "275ms"

Talk to your ISP and tell them to upgrade your bandwidth.

Or stop your VPN if you have it running or anything that consumes bandwidth i.e. lowers ping. Downloading something while playing will for sure increase your ping. Googling "how to lower ping" will give you more stuff to try, tired of writing sorry.

There are things you can do, most will cost you some money. 275ms is WAY too high of a ping to be playing a FPS, so the game is right to be kicking you to prevent other players from suffering because of your high ping.

Based on that ping one of two issues is the cause. Either your located on another continent than the servers. Or more than two continents away most likely, as I think the only places far enough way to get pings that high are Siberia, the Antarctic, Australia, or the Moon. (It's almost always Australia.) Or your ISP is having major issues.

A potential solution to lowering ping is a tunneling service designed for online games. Basically it creates a shortcut made up of fewer nodes/servers along the route between you and whatever server your connecting to. This can either slight decrease ping, or DRAMATICALLY reduce it depending on where you and the servers are located. This will work if your ISP is the issue, but will only slightly help with being in the land down under, as your limited by undersea cables or satilites for ping.
