Finding a PC only lobby is such a hard task, and with a large console player base spanning across both PlayStation and Xbox, finding a lobby or creating a lobby solely with people on the same platform is significantly harder.

Keeping Cross-Platform enabled ensure you're put into matches far quicker, even to the average wait times the game states. Sure some people do like to play with people on their same platform, you'll still meet PC players in the Cross-Platform lobbies, and even better is you get to play/get into matches quicker!

Thats the general thing, when you go PC only, youre not really just going PC only, youre going PC Only with other PC users that ticked "PC only".
Therefore a rather small minority of the playerbase.

Once the general skill level of the console players improves over the next couple of weeks as they learn the game this will become a non issue anyway

Yeah right now PC players are just criticising them for exact same thing that PC players have been doing through out all of early access. Give it a few weeks and it'll all smooth out

The main issue I have with the console peasants is that no one is on comms when you play with them. Probably because they're in a party chat with people they aren't even playing with. Does anyone really want to play a team shooter "by themselves"?

I get turning off crossplay in competive game, but feel devs sould enforce crossplay in cooperative game like this. Rank filters maybe more appropriate if want to cut down on newbie annoyance

When Planetside 2 started branching out to consoles it was the beginning of the end.

Hey man consoles are new and do dumb stuff but they have been getting way better. Just try to teach em as much as you can without being a ♥♥♥♥.

You can't teach anything when they're all in a party chat talking to their friends playing (insert battle royale game here) instead of talking to the people in the actual game they are currently playing.

They talk way more than a lot of PC players were pre 1.0. Even now most games I'm in, it's the console people on comms

I've gotten quite a few games with console players who talk, the problem is they all use proximity chat.
