Many insects are resistant to fire, such as the inferno and fire warrior.
Any other option is better.
Lure grenade is extremely OP.
Just try to throw it far away or it won't work properly. Insects prioritize living targets.
Outside of that with lure grenade you can get up to 10 kills per grenade.
In addition to being a very useful distraction when it comes to extraction.
At the moment no grenade and utility can be mastered and shared unfortunately.
edit: if i could custom the class, i would use chem and only chem. thats why we cant use chem.

Shame... triple gas bombardment sounded cool on my head. I guess lures will have to do.
The Napalm is only good if you want to block a path or if you can drop it on a good amount of bugs. Other than that you will send them out, hit a few if lucky and the rest of the bugs will ignore it or go around your wall of fire. No good for kill numbers.

Yep that is the worst thing about the napalm grenades. I hate it with a passion when players ( and I can't blame people for doing it ) drop a napalm grenade on me when playing a guardian - you are totally blinded and out of action - yes we can wild fire but we all know that comes with shooting your team mates. The only saviour in this, is if the bugs are highlighted in red. Not always the case though.
Hopefully they reduce the visual instruction of the flames a little, no visual effect should hinder more than 35% of the near field of vision, otherwise it becomes annoying.

Honestly, 99% of the visual obstruction from Napalm it's caused by it not sharing the same graphics style with the rest of the particle effects. Each time I see it, I can't help but think they pasted fireexplosion.png over my screen.
it feels like a shutterstock image without transparency.
At least it should be more transparent when you have the flames on your face, it should affect like a fog.
If you are looking to farm XP, then no.
